If you are applying after that date, send all registration payments and correspondence by email and electronically. To make a credit card payment, go to the bottom of this page and click on the "Buy Now" button just below where it says "MAKE A PAYMENT HERE". This takes you to a PayPal payment page where you can use a credit card to make a payment.

1: if you cancel and the camp fills up anyway, we will retain a $25
processing fee per person in your group and return the rest of your deposit to you.

before the deadline, then we can give your spot to
another student. If the camp does

To apply to the camp, please send us an email, or a letter in the mail, with the following information:
1) Your name and age, or if you are applying for more than one person in a family, all the names and ages of the people that you are applying for, and what instruments you wish to study at camp;
2) Your contact information: mailing address, telephone number, cell number, email address, and website if you have one;
3) What instrument(s) do you want to study at camp?
4) Please tell us anything about
yourselves that will help us to help you at camp. For example, are you a
beginning player, a novice, intermediate, advanced or professional
player; are you a classically trained string player or string teacher;
can you read music? etc.
5) What would you like to learn at camp? Are there particular fiddle styles a/o techniques
that you would you like to concentrate on at camp; are there particular
tunes you would like to learn; how long have you played the fiddle a/o
violin or viola; will you bring a second instrument to play at camp and
if so, which?
6) It's not required, but we would find it very helpful if you are able to send us a jpeg of yourself. We make a thumbnail of your face and make a photo montage of participants faces and names for visual identification. We share the photo montage with full names with the teachers in advance of camp, and we share the photo montage with first names with students after registration. It helps build a sense of camp community. We do NOT post it to the internet. You aren't required to send us your photo but we hope you will.
7) For each person in
your family group, tell us about any health condition, dietary
restriction or food allergy that you think we should know about in advance of camp.
8) Copy the "Participant's release form and indemnity agreement, photo release and compliance clause" below from beginning to end, and write a note saying that you agree to all of the statements (this is required). We will also need you to sign and date a hard copy of this release form when you arrive at camp, unless you have already mailed it to us by snail mail.

I agree and each person named in this application acknowledges that by submitting this application, I (we) agree to the following:
1. Ability to Participate: I am and each person named in this application is physically able to participate in Rolland Fiddle Camp activities, as described in the Rolland Fiddle Camp website.
2. Assumption of Risk: Participation in Rolland Fiddle Camp and any of its related activities is voluntary and undertaken at my (our) own risk. I (we) agree to assume all risk of injury, loss, or damage, whether such injury, loss, or damage is to my person, property, or to another person or other person's property.
3. Insurance and Responsibility of Loss: I (we) agree that I (we) am solely responsible for insuring against the risk of injury, loss, or damage at Rolland Fiddle Camp.
4. Release and Hold Harmless: Neither Peter Rolland & Associates, L.L.C., Rolland Fiddle Camp, Peter Rolland, nor any of the staff, teachers, or volunteers of Rolland Fiddle Camp shall be liable or in any way responsible for theft, damage or loss of participant's personal property or for injuries to anyone during camp. I (we) agree to release and forever hold harmless Peter Rolland & Associates, L.L.C., Rolland Fiddle Camp, Peter Rolland, the staff, teachers, and volunteers of Rolland Fiddle Camp, and their predecessors and successors in interest, heirs, assigns, agents, attorneys, and personal representatives from all liability for any and all injuries, damages, and/or losses arising directly or indirectly out of participation in Rolland Fiddle Camp, to include, but not limited to: theft, damage or loss of personal property, all personal injury, damage, or loss and death.
5. Indemnification: I (we) agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the persons and entities identified in paragraph (4) above, for any injury, damage, or loss, or other liability arising directly or indirectly out of participation in Rolland Fiddle Camp and related activities, including the costs of litigation and attorney fees.
6. Reimbursement to Venue for Loss or Damage: I (we) agree to reimburse any venue hosting Rolland Fiddle Camp for any damage caused by me or any person named in this application.
7. Compliance with Rules and Regulations: I (we) agree to comply with all venue regulations, to include but not be limited to no alcohol allowed on the premises, and no smoking in any buildings. I (we) further agree to comply with all posted or announced Rolland Fiddle Camp regulations; all local, state and federal civil and criminal laws; and to not behave in a manner detrimental to the proper functioning of Rolland Fiddle Camp or to the reputation of Rolland Fiddle Camp, it's staff, teachers, or volunteers. I (we) understand and agree that non-compliance may result in dismissal from camp and forfeiture of fees.
8. Release for Photography and Video: I (we) agree to allow Rolland Fiddle Camp to use photographs and/or videos of camp classes and activities that include me or children in my care for promotion of future camps and to place such photographs and/or videos in the camp online photo album.
9. Voluntary Agreement: By signing below, I (we) agree that I have fully read the foregoing Release and Participation Agreement, agree to its contents, and consent to be bound thereby. I (we) sign this Release and Participation Agreement voluntarily, with a sound mind, and of my own free will.
