street from the Custer County School and 1/2 mile from the AAW building where classes will be held.  Historically a
good percentage of our students stay here. It has 23 developed sites with water, hookups, electricity, dump.  There also
tent sites which includes use of the bath house) a laundry room and showers, and three sleeping cabins, two with a full and a twin bed, microwave and fridge; one with 2 sets of bunk
beds.  Their website has full details and a good informational video.  Note: Wi-Fi is available. The address is:

1699 Camino Rd, Westcliffe, CO 81252
This was the site of ROLLAND FIDDLE CAMP in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and we really enjoyed it.  It's a gorgeous setting in the mountains at 9000' altitude.  Although we have moved our camp 1000' down the mountain into the town of Westcliffe, they may be willing to provide lodging (but not meal service) to our campers if not sold out.   All rooms include a queen size bed plus a queen size bed plus a queen size sleeper, private bathroom, television, and telephone.  Free WiFi is available in the lobby.  Some have kitchenettes (sleeps 4) and some have 2 bunk beds instead of the kitchenette.  Call for pricing; it might be less than motels in town.  There's one change of linen mid-week.  The facility is a 25 minute, 7 mile drive down the mountain to the town where the classes are held.  The amenities are numerous (see website and call the office for details).

Westcliffe has a supermarket about 100 yards from the AAW building where classes are held.   If you plan on buying and preparing food, this is the place to go, although you might also like to visit the thriving farmer’s market midweek on Main Street between the school and the supermarket.  The area comes alive in summertime with visiting tourists, and there is no shortage of restaurants.  Here’s a list.  Our apologies if we forgot any of them, if there’s a brand new restaurant that we didn’t know about, or if the listed restaurant has closed or changed owners, management or format).
